InventHelp® Client Invents "Bassett Safe System" - An Invention That Could Offer Caregivers A Friendly Reminder
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 29, 2008 -- InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Margate, Fla., has designed a device that uses audible and visual alarms to ensure that a child is not left behind in a parked vehicle.
The "Bassett Safe System" could help parents or caregivers remember to remove children from car seats prior to exiting an automobile. The invention would be designed to prevent heat- and cold-related injuries that may occur when a child is left in a vehicle accidentally. The unit could provide parents and caregivers with peace of mind. The device would feature a compact, unobtrusive design and would be easy to install and operate.
The Bassett Safe System unit would consist of a square electronic control box, light-emitting diodes and a series of plugs and connectors. The control box would secure to the back of a child car seat via hook-and-loop fasteners or a pouch belt. The box would house standard replaceable batteries, which would supply power to the device. LEDs would be positioned on the car seat so that the driver can see them in the rearview mirror. Plugs and connectors would be wired to the car seat harness buckles. When each buckle is connected on the car seat harness, the control box would emit an audible alarm and cause the LEDs to flash. The control box would continue to activate audible and visual alarms at preset time intervals. A user would program the desired alarm interval into the box prior to using the device. Add-on accessories would allow the device to be programmed to call a cellular phone or pager at a preset time to remind parents or caregivers of a child's presence in the car. The device also may interface with a GPS satellite to provide the exact location of the seat in the event that a car is stolen.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. Living Large: Overweight Seniors Fueling Growth for Home Instead Senior Care Businesses
Home Instead Senior Care announces that the business is witnessing a dramatic demographic shift as the ranks of obese seniors grow and need personal care services. It might be called the tale of two Boomers: One day you hear that older adults have never been healthier; they're working out and buffing up at YMCAs and fitness clubs throughout America, and living longer as a result. At the same time, half of middle-aged adults between 55 and 64 have high blood pressure and two and five are obese, according to the National Center for Health Statistics.
Tips For Shopping Online For Home Health Care Products
There are a multitude of home health care products that can be purchased online. However, the very availability of these products means we need to be particularly careful about what we buy and for what reason. We also need to be aware of the variability in quality, ingredients and manufacturing conditions that may not be of the same standard as those in our own country. Home health care products can include pharmaceuticals, natural remedies, and other products and equipment that support healing and wellness.
